More than 500 women will be diagnosed with breast cancer each day. Fujifilm is committed to saving lives through the early detection of breast cancer - a mission shared by the National Breast Cancer Foundation.
To that end, Fujifilm created Images of Health, a public awareness and education program encouraging all women – and their families, friends, and loved ones – to understand the importance of early detection. The program also provides resources to learn about mammography and help schedule an annual mammogram. Breast cancer is most treatable when detected in its earliest stages, and mammography is still the number one method of detecting the disease.
Fujifilm has taken an active role in the cause by spreading awareness of the importance of early detection, donating mammography systems to hospitals, and providing free mammograms.
