My mom was diagnosed with breast cancer stage one. She choose to have a lumpectomy. She had to go through raditation and chemo. I think the hardest part was when her hair fell out. She would wear scarves untill one day she had the courage to take them off. Even with no hair, my mom was still beautiful. It's been a little over a year now since she has finished with radiation and she is in remission. We pray everyday that it stays that way.
