I am a 3 year survivor in April 2011. I was 1st diagnosed in March 2008', not married but my live in boyfriend and I had been together 10 years. When I was diagnosed and by April 15th, 2008 the cancer was taken out. Early detection was my clue. Michael in the morning a few weeks later told me that he had a dream that we were married at "Relay for Life" cancer event which lasts 2 days, overnight. The relay which was to be July. Of course I said Yes. He was afraid of how I was going to react to him asking me. So, at the "relay for Life" July 26th,2008 we were married at the park before the event. Michael and I have also been on the chairmens council in logistics and luminaries.Its going on 3 years and have been quite an adventure in so many positive ways and new people we get to meet.
