In May 1995 my Mother Marjorie Simmons took her first mammogram at the age of 66 after much encouraging, she finally agreed to get it done. So we were very surprised when the Doctor called and said it had shown abnormal areas and she would have to to take a biopsy and tests to search for cancer. It turned out to be a long summer with me taking her back to the local hospital for 28 radiation treatments. She had a wonderful Doctor Hodgeskins from Columbus who would not let Mother QUIT!!! Today Mother is 82 and also a colon cancer survivor!! I thank God for blessing her with strength to endure many treatments and make Cancer part of her past!!!
