I, personally, have not been affected by Breast Cancer, but I have many family members and friends who have. I get a mammogram every year because you never know. My sister had leukemia over 12 years ago and she has been cancer free since a bone marrow transplant (donated by me) 12 years ago. I participate in the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer walk in Central Park every year since 2001 and it fills my heart with joy to be there and support all survivors. Breast cancer is a sneaky disease and we need to find a cure. I'm happy to do what I can to help.
