My mother is a 18yr. survivor. My sister has participated in the Susan G. Komen 3-day walk in St. Pete, FL. for the last three years. She walked as late as this past Oct. She finished up her chemo just two and 1/2 weeks before the walk and resumed radiation the following Wed. I was awful proud of her. She did not walk the 60 miles this last time but did the two times before. She has 5 more weeks of radiation 5 days a week and her hair is finally growing back. She has a wonderful support in her husband and 5 year old son. We love her dearly.
